Development Based on Your Starting Point
Cevaniq Bras supports bra product development for lingerie brands, importers, wholesalers and private-label buyers. A project can begin with a complete tech pack, measurement sheet, design sketch, physical reference sample or an existing bra style that needs modification.
Before quoting or sampling, we review the product category, target market, size range, cup construction, support level, materials, estimated quantity and branding requirements. This helps determine whether the project can use an existing pattern and available components or requires new pattern work, material sourcing and multiple fit revisions.
Tech Pack and Reference Sample Review
A clear tech pack should identify the bra construction, measurements, materials, stitching, cup and padding, elastic, straps, closures, labels and packaging. If a physical reference sample is supplied, we inspect its visible structure and key measurements before confirming what can be reproduced or adjusted.
A product photo alone normally does not show internal cup layers, foam density, elastic tension or seam construction. For a more accurate assessment, buyers should provide:
- Front, back and inside product views
- Measurement chart and size range
- Fabric composition or reference swatches
- Cup, wire and padding requirements
- Strap, elastic and closure specifications
- Target quantity by style and color
- Logo, label and packaging details

Pattern Making and Prototype Sampling
After the specification is reviewed, the sampling team prepares or adjusts the pattern for the required construction. Cup shape, cradle, bridge, side wings, band, straps and closure position must work together rather than being developed as separate visual details.
The first prototype is used to evaluate construction feasibility, measurements and overall balance. At this stage, the sample may require adjustments to cup volume, neckline, wing height, strap position, elastic tension or support structure.
Existing samples normally take around 3–5 days. New custom developments generally require around 7–15 days, depending on material availability, construction complexity and the number of revisions.
Fit Review and Size Adjustment
Fit approval is particularly important for structured, nursing, sports and plus-size bras. The sample is checked against the buyer’s measurement chart, with attention to band dimensions, cup proportion, symmetry, strap position, wing support and closure placement.
Comments should be recorded clearly for each revision. Updated measurements, photographs and marked sample details reduce uncertainty between the buyer and sampling team. Once the base size is approved, the requested size range can proceed through Size Grading & Fit Adjustment.
Pre-Production Sample Approval
Before bulk production, the approved sample should confirm the main fabric, lace, cup, padding, elastic, straps, hardware, colors, labels and workmanship. A pre-production sample may be prepared when the final bulk materials or construction differ from the earlier prototype.
The approved sample and specification become the reference for cutting, bra sewing and elastic attachment, measurement inspection and final quality checks. Any requested change after approval may affect material usage, cost and delivery time.
MOQ, Lead Time and Quotation Information
Standard bra orders usually start around 300–500 pieces per style. Custom fabrics, colors and private-label developments commonly require around 500–1,000 pieces or more, depending on material MOQ, construction and color breakdown.
